The young defender has been nothing short of brilliant since moving to north London this summer and made his first start for Italy in the game against at Wembley.

Kulusevski who admits he is a fan of the youngster was full of praise for the youngster and his sweet adaptation to life in the Premier League.

He told LondonWorld.com: “They are unbelievable guys, honestly. I have so much love for them. Vicario is a fantastic keeper and a fantastic guy outside and Destiny is a machine. He can become one of the best, for sure. They are lovely guys.”

Tottenham have jumped back to the summit of the Premier League table having comfortably beaten Fulham and they can go five points clear if they can beat Crystal Palace on Friday night and and set up a titanic encounter against Tottenham.

But Kulusevski says the most important thing for them at the moment is the fact that they are enjoying their game. The Swedish forward added:

“Yes, it is early because we will see what happens. Everything can change every day so we don’t need to talk about that but we must live for the day with a smile, train hard and not forget who we are. We must try to get better every day.

“You have got to have fun when you work and when you are playing. That is number one. Of course, we are very disappointed with the second half but it was still very good to come away with three points.”
