Legendary Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has been speaking about Tottenham's Premier League title credentials. Spurs are still sitting top of the league after 10 games, still unbeaten and two points ahead of Arsenal.

Coming into this year, Arsenal and Manchester City were the overwhelming favourites, but while there is still plenty of time for things to change, it is Ange Postecoglou's men who are leading the way, and they have barely put a foot wrong.

Even with their superb form, many have questioned whether Tottenham can go the distance, with Postecoglou's men lacking depth in some areas, though they could still add to their squad in January, still armed with some of the money from the Harry Kane sale.

In the meantime, Arsenal legend Wenger has been speaking about Tottenham's potential as far as a title chase goes, and is firmly aboard the Spurs bandwagon even at this early stage.

"I like always to say what I feel, really. Deeply, I believe Tottenham will be one of the contenders for the league," Wenger told beIN Sports.

"They bought Maddison, who is a great player. He is that llink from low midfield to high midfield and added some technical creativity to the team. They bought Van de Ven, who I find absolutely exceptional. They had weaknesses there and last season [Hugo] Lloris had not the best of seasons as well. And the movement from Son into the middle looks very good."

Tottenham face Aston Villa, Manchester City and Newcastle United before Christmas, so we should get a better idea of whether they have what it takes to stay in the race by the time December 25 rolls around.
