Confirmed Tottenham team news and predicted XI vs Crystal Palace as Yves Bissouma call made

Tottenham are unbeaten in their last five away Premier League London derbies and will look to go five points clear top of the table with a win.

Tottenham’s Ange Postecoglou knows that the game against Crystal Palace gives them an opportunity to go five points clear of second-place Manchester City who don’t play until Sunday.

The Lilywhites are enjoying their best ever start to a Premier League campaign and two goals either side of the game against Fulham meant they have now won seven and drawn two of their first nine games of the season.

Postecoglou is nearing in on almost 50 home games without a defeat, but Selhurst Park could be a tricky one with Roy Hodgson’s side looking to bounce back after a 4-0 thrashing at Newcastle last weekend.

This game will be the Eagles manager’s 500th game in charge of an English club.

The Eagles have failed to score in their last two games and they would be pumped up for this one.

Tottenham manager Postecoglou, even by his own high standard, could not have envisaged the kind of start he’s had, but he admits there are still aspects of their game they have to polish up.

He told reporters ahead of the game at Selhurst: “We are in a good space at the moment and we have to make sure that what we are doing here is sustainable.

“We still have to grow in every area, the defensive side of the game we are doing well and the ability to work hard and force opposition, and the attacking we still need too -the attacking side of our game is still not natural.

“Pape is fine...and Destiny we will have to assess and see how things go after that - and everyone has come through the training fine.”
