Italian side Bologna are reportedly pushing to sign young Tottenham forward Alejo Veliz according to reports in the Italian media.

Ironically they were the same club Tottenham beat competition from to sign the highly-rated Argentine striker but his lack of game time has been worrying and there are now concerns that he could look to for a move away for more game time.

The 20-year-old South American is a highly-rated young striker which is why Spurs secured his services as an investment for the future.

However, according to Corriere dello Sport, he is reportedly unhappy about the lack of opportunities he’s had at Tottenham so far.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has injuries to deal with with Brazilian forward Richarlison likely to be out for at least a month while injuries to James Maddison and Mickey van de Ven has meant he has to re-think his squad going into the game against Aston Villa this weekend.

Spurs have Johnson, Son, and Kulusevski as the current attacking options and there is a feeling that the coming days could see him given more opportunities especially with key games coming up.

One thing though is certain for Tottenham with the club likely to go into the transfer window to help Ange Postecoglou who has shown he is more than capable of turning things around after a strong start to the season.

Defeats to Chelsea and Wolves would have hurt but there is no doubt that they are playing well a few additions could help them challenge for the top four at least.
