Ange Postecoglou to snub £100k-p/w Tottenham stars in predicted team vs Arsenal

This is the first time that both sides come into this fixture unbeaten since 1990, when the pair drew 0-0 at Highbury in the third game of the season.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has the herculean task of trying to get Tottenham their first win at the Emirates for the first time since November 2010.

He will have big calls to make on his attack but admitted in his press conference ahead of the game that he has a few ideas to surprise their host.

Arsenal are favourites for a number of reasons including the fact that they play at home where they have not lost to Spurs since November 2010.

The Australian manager will have to decide if he gives Brennan Johnson a start, bring back Richarlison to the starting eleven or keep the tsrating team that took on Sheffield United last weekend.

The Spurs boss admits Arsenal are in great shaoe but says his team is also in a good place ahead of the game. He told reporters: “Again, it really depends on how you frame that. Ultimately the challenge is they are a very good football team and I can’t get away from that.

“They are a very good football team, irrespective of past records. If we had beaten them twice last year, I would be going into this game saying it will be a tough game and it will be a tough game for our players, particularly away from home.

“That is the challenge for us. I have never put too much stock on previous records, or previous history because I certainly wasn’t involved in any of those and some of the players weren’t involved, so there is no point in us reflecting on the historical context of the fixture.

“What is really more relevant is they are in good form, we’re in good form and we want to go out there and try to play our football against them.”

Ange has won many over with the start he’s had so with that in mind, here is how we expect him to line up for the game tomorrow.
