Ange Postecoglou set to unleash Tottenham forward who 'thrives' on chaos against Arsenal

Tottenham will attempt to derail Arsenal’s title ambitions and improve their own Champions League targets.

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is likely to bring Richarlison straight into the team for this weekend's North London derby. The historically fiery encounter has added ingredients this time around with Arsenal looking to win the Premier League title for the first time in 20 years while Tottenham still have hopes of finishing in a Champions League spot.

Spurs have fallen off the cliff massive after one of the best starts to a Premier League campaign. In their first 10 league games of the season, they had won eight and drawn two before Chelsea forced them into a defeat.

All that will be forgiven if they can find it in them to beat their sworn rivals Arsenal this weekend. Speak to any Spurs fan and one of the most painful things they can ever succumb to is watching on as Arsenal win a league title.

So what has been a season that promised so much but is slowly fading into another one where they pick the positive could be crowned with a massive North London victory.

Richarlison could be the chaos that brings victory

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou hinted Richarlison would be ready for this game having missed the last three due to a knee problem.

The Spurs boss told reporters before their trip to Newcastle: "Not for this week. He's close and, obviously with the weekend off next weekend, it'll give him time to recover - and he's on track to do that. Everyone else from last weekend has got through unscathed and are ready to go."

The Spurs boss is expected to speak to the media today ahead of the game this weekend but Richarlison who has bagged 10 goals could be the difference between a defeat and a win or at least a point.

He is known to thrive in difficult games as shown with his time at Watford and Everton, scoring important goals and being the difference maker.

Spurs will need fight and consistency and having missed the last few games due to injury- the Brazilian could be the reboot the Lilyhwites need going into one of the games of the season.
