Hide AdTottenham’s urgent need to rejuvenate their goalkeeping roster has made García a prime target, especially given the decline in form of their current keepers, Guglielmo Vicario and Fraser Forster.
Espanyol is said to be open to negotiations for García, but only if offers meet their valuation close to his release clause, which stands at 25 million euros (£21m).
García himself has addressed the speculation surrounding his future, expressing his contentment at Espanyol and his gratitude towards the club’s supporters. “I have always felt the love of the fans. I’m very happy here, and I encourage everyone to stay calm and support us.”
