What QPR need to happen to confirm Championship safety vs Leeds United tonight
QPR welcome high-flying Leeds United to Loftus Road on Friday night for a clash under the lights that could see Marti Cifuentes complete his mission of Championship survival.
However, Daniel Farke's side arrive in London with plenty to play for themselves, sitting precariously in second place with Ipswich Town breathing down the Whites' necks.

If QPR beat Leeds United
Should Marti Cifuentes' side beat promotion-chasing Leeds United at Loftus Road on Friday night, the Rs would automatically confirm their survival and book another season of Championship football.
Three points would take the QPR tally to 53 this season. Even if Birmingham City win and take their total to 49, with one match left to play, the Midlands outfit would be unable to catch their rivals in London.
If Leeds United beat QPR
Leeds United are favourites to get a result at relegation-threatened QPR tonight and, if the Yorkshire outfit do so, the Rs cannot confirm their Championship safety this evening. QPR currently sit 18th on 50 points, four ahead of Birmingham City in 22nd and six ahead of Huddersfield Town in 23rd.

Hide AdA defeat against Leeds would leave both Birmingham City and Huddersfield Town in with the chance of catching Cifuentes' side - with those two teams playing in a bumper relegation battle at the John Smith's Stadium on Saturday.
After a QPR loss, the Blues and Terriers would need to draw tomorrow for QPR safety to be confirmed this weekend. A Birmingham City win would leave Gary Rowett's side one point off QPR on the final day while a Huddersfield Town win would put André Breiternreiter's side three points off QPR, albeit with a sizeable goal difference to close.
If QPR and Leeds United draw
Should the spoils be shared at Loftus Road on Friday, then QPR's position in the Championship next season will still hang in the balance.
The Rs would be on 51 points with next week's trip to Coventry City left. That would put QPR seven points ahead of Huddersfield Town, and out of reach, but still being hunted down by Birmingham City.
