Supercomputer predicts Millwall, QPR, Charlton Athletic, Portsmouth, Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday final Championship positions

Millwall and Charlton Athletic both kicked off their 2025-26 Championship season with a win while Queens Park Rangers settled for a draw to start the campaign.

The Addicks secured a dramatic 1-0 win over Watford at the Valley with Harvey Knibbs scoring in the fourth minute of stoppage time. Millwall also secured a late victory as Macaulay Langstaff netted a 83rd-minute winner after the Canaries’ Josh Sargent had cancelled out Camiel Neghli’s opener at Carrow Road.

For QPR, they drew 1-1 with Preston North End at Loftus Road. Ben Whiteman’s own goal put the hosts ahead but Milutin Osmajic scored three minutes into the second half to earn a share of the spoils for the away side.
