QPR, Hull City and Leeds United have been dealt another potential blow in their pursuit of Crystal Palace winger Jesurun Rak-Sakyi amid news of an incoming second bid from a Premier League side.
A host of Championship clubs are keen to sign the 21-year-old this summer and they are joined by newly promoted outfit Southampton. It had emerged that the south coast side had seen a first bid rejected by The Eagles last week amid worries over strengthening a rival.

The winger played a fringe role in the squad at Selhurst Park last season having enjoyed an impressive 2022/23 loan spell with the Addicks.
The report adds that Oliver Glasner's preference remains to loan the player to a Championship side but Southampton clearly believe they can offer the cash to convince Crystal Palace otherwise. The fee is touted to be £7 million.
With Southampton clearly keen to finalise the deal and Rak-Sakyi supposedly preferring a Premier League move, it's a dent in the hopes of QPR. The R's are in the market for a winger this summer having seen Chris Willock leave as a free agent and join Cardiff City.

Championship rivals Hull City and Sunderland have also been linked with the player while, over the weekend, it appeared that Leeds United had also joined the race. Rak-Sakyi turned heads at the end of last week as he scored the only goal for Crystal Palace in a 1-1 friendly draw against Charlton Athletic.
Describing the 'brilliant' Rak-Sakyi goal, the Crystal Palace match report read: "Then, in the 90th minute, Rak-Sakyi’s moment of magic – and against the side who he starred for on loan two seasons ago, no less.
"A quick ball forwards from David Ozoh was laid off by Kamada into the winger’s path and, stepping inside two Charlton defenders, he feinted to shoot – sitting one marker down – before advancing into the box and rolling a precise right-footed effort across goal and into the bottom corner."
