QPR plan to loan out some players before the end of the window. Boss Neil Critchley has told West London Sport: “There is the potential in our squad of a couple who want regular football and that is something we could look at in the next few days or weeks. I have had a couple of conversations with players, they know where I stand and my feelings.”

Ex-Hoops manager Neil Warnock is being linked with a surprise return to Cardiff City. talkSPORT claim the Bluebirds are ‘exploring’ the possibility of luring him out of retirement.

Millwall

Millwall are keen to bring in some more depth up front over the next couple of weeks. Gary Rowett is short of options in attack with Benik Afobe and Isaac Olaofe both leaving and he has said, as per the Southwark News: “We know we want to bring in a couple of players and we’re working very hard. This window is difficult because we haven’t got the money to blow teams away and we’re not going to be the first pick on a lot of top players’ agendas, so we have to keep working and we have to be patient.”

The Lions are sweating over the fitness of defender Jake Cooper ahead of Saturday and hope the injury he picked up at Middlesbrough is just a minor one. Rowett has told London News Online: “Coops has got a dead glute, he landed on it. It was a bit like a dead leg, essentially.”
