QPR’s Ody Alfa has linked up with Chelmsford City on loan. The 23-year-old will spend the rest of this season at the Melbourne Stadium after spending time with Aldershot Town earlier this term.

R’s boss Neil Critchley took the positives from their draw at Huddersfield. He told the club website: “I’m a little bit happier than I was last week (following QPR’s 3-0 loss at Hull City). Our application was better, our intensity was better and after scoring the first goal I felt we were comfortable, had control of the game and had one or two moments where we could have scored the second goal.”

Millwall

Millwall-linked striker Deniz Undav has admitted he had options to leave Brighton and Hove Albion in the January window. He told Seagulls’ club media (via Sussex Live): “Yes, there were other options but I wanted to finish the season with the team. When I start something I want to finish it. In the end, I made my decision and told the gaffer [Roberto De Zerbi] and the club that I wanted to stay with Brighton and fight for my spot.”

Manager Gary Rowett has heaped praise on the Lions’ fans and hailed the atmosphere against Sunderland. He has said, as per the Southwark News: “It was an incredible atmosphere, that was the one thing you noticed. Our fans, when they pack out this stadium, it’s a very unique atmosphere. I felt that really helped the game.”

Manchester United blocked Watford’s move for winger Facundo Pellistri on deadline day, according to Football Insider. The Uruguay international had agreed terms to join Slaven Bilic’s side but the Red Devils pulled the plug.

Hornets defender Mattie Pollock believes he has a point to prove on loan at Aberdeen. He has said, via Aberdeen Live: “I still have a long time on my contract left at Watford and if I am going to be brutally honest I want to prove a point to Watford and to go back and show the fans the real me which I don’t think they have been able to see.”
