Round-up: QPR man being eyed, update on Millwall’s striker hunt and Watford turn to ex-Premier League player

Latest QPR, Millwall and Watford news and rumours as the Championship trio prepare for the weekend

QPR face an away trip to Hull City this weekend as they look to hit some form. Millwall have a break from the action until 4th February.

Meanwhile, Watford take on Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium. Here is a look at some of the latest news and rumours regarding the Championship trio...

QPR have let defender Conor Masterson return to Gillingham on loan until the end of the season. Youngster Alfie Lloyd has also extended his stay at Eastleigh until the summer.

Left-back Niko Hämäläinen is attracting interest from elsewhere ahead of the transfer deadline. As per West London Sport, Scottish clubs including Kilmarnock are keen on him.

Millwall have been dealt a blow with Hibernian striker Kevin Nisbet deciding against a move. The Scotsman say he was close to joining the Lions but has opted to stay put in Edinburgh so Gary Rowett’s hunt for attacking reinforcements continues.

Victor Adeboyejo, who was linked with a move to The Den, has been snapped up by Bolton Wanderers from Burton Albion. These two setbacks could see the Lions turn to Bologna’s Sydney van Hooijdonk with The Sun claiming they are admirers of him along with Stoke City, Cardiff City and Swansea City.

Watford have completed a deal to sign defender Ryan Porteous from Hibs. He has penned a four-and-a-half year deal at Vicarage Road.

The Watford Observer report that the Hornets are poised to sign centre-back Wesley Hoedt from Anderlecht. He last played in England for Southampton from 2017 to 2021.
