QPR midfielder Timothy Iroegbunam has sent a message to his followers on Twitter (see below) as he heads into the break. The youngster has made a positive impression on loan from Premier League side Aston Villa this term.

Pundit Alan Hutton has suggested Michael Beale’s head could be turned if Rangers came calling. The former Tottenham Hotspur right-back has told Football Insider: “Rangers is somewhere he knows, he knows most of the players. He has been used to that winning mentality when he has been there so I think it is something he would think long and hard about.

“It is maybe worth that change especially when you think of the European adventures. So I think it something he would definitely seriously think about.“

Millwall

Millwall boss Gary Rowett is pleased with the start his side have made to the season. He has told the Southwark News: “I think we deserve to be in and around where we are. “I think in the last nine games we’ve won five, drawn three and lost one, and we’ve played some very good teams in there.

“I’ve said it before, we’re more than a match for anyone physically. At times, we need to show a little bit more quality.”

Zian Flemming has been a hit since joining the Lions over the summer and has adapted to life in England with ease. After bagging a hat-trick last time out, he told MillwallTV (via South London Press): “A hat-trick and a win, especially before the break, it’s nice to help myself and the team go into that with a nice feeling.”

Watford

Watford have been linked with a move for Millonarios winger Carlos Andres Gomez. FutbolRed (via Sport Witness) claim the attacker is on their radar at the moment along with Santa Fe midfielder Johan Torres.

Former Hornets boss Rob Edwards is in ‘advanced’ talks to become the new manager of rivals Luton Town, as per The Athletic. He was sacked just 11 games into his spell at Vicarage Road after leaving Forest Green Rovers to join them at the end of the last campaign.
