Hide AdPrutton predicts QPR clash
QPR have been backed to draw 1-1 with Plymouth Argyle on Saturday with both teams heading into the Loftus Road clash searching for their first league win of the season. "Plymouth needed something after that opening day defeat, and the Carabao Cup for them was proving fruitful," David Prutton said on the Sky Sports Championship Predictions podcast.
"It was a good goal by Lewie Coyle that ensured a point for Hull City, but to all intents and purposes, it was a very impressive home display by Plymouth. This one is a nicely matched one because we heard a lot at the back end of last season about Marti Cifuentes and what he'd done with QPR, so I'm intrigued to see where he lands against Rooney's Argyle."
Tanganga ready to go
Millwall star Japhet Tanganga has been speaking about his upcoming return this weekend when the Lions face Hull City away from home, with the defender having no served his early-season ban.
“It’s hard but I’ve only got myself to blame for that situation,” said Tanganga to the South London Press. “It kind of worked for me because I came a bit later into Millwall’s pre-season, so I’ve been able to do extra sessions in training. It’s felt a long time but now it is all over – I’m ready to go. I was involved in all the pre-season games – except Southampton – and I played for the U23s against Burnley.”

Elsewhere in the division, Leeds United are said to be leading the race to land Freiburg attacker Sallai Roland. Hungarian outlet Mandiner have reported: “Unexpected turn – Sallai Roland may be in the second division! Leeds United, who started the English second division with two draws, are currently the most persistent suitors, and they would need reinforcements if they want to aim for the Premier League again.”
Florian Plettenberg has reported that Freiburg are hoping to strengthen by bringing in Fabian Rees from Hertha Berlin but that they will have to offload a winger first. That could give Leeds the opening they need, but there is likely to be competition.
