QPR player ratings as Marti Cifuentes' men see unbeaten Championship run ended by Middlesbrough

QPR were beaten 2-0 by Middlesbrough at Loftus Road on Saturday

QPR's four-game unbeaten run in the Championship came to an end on Saturday as they were beaten 2-0 by Middlesbrough at Loftus Road. The loss, the Hoops first since mid-February, ensures they remain just a point above the relegation zone in the second tier with nine league games remaining.

Marti Cifuentes' side approached the game with plenty of confidence after pushing play-off hopefuls West Brom close in midweek and after a goalless first half, they would have hoped to kick on against the Teessiders after the break. But they fell behind in the 64th minute as Emmanuel Latte Lath bagged for the visitors.

Boro doubled their lead just a few minutes later as Marcus Forss found the back of the net to compound a disappointing afternoon for west Londoners. QPR currently sit in 20th, but with Huddersfield Town due to play on Sunday, there is now a chance that QPR could end the weekend in 21st, perched on the very edge of the relegation zone.

As the dust settles on the Championship contest, we take a look at the Whoscored.com player ratings.
