QPR linked with National League defender

QPR are interested in offering Chippenham Town defender Dan Ellison the chance to leap up the leagues this summer. The 18-year-old is impressing at the National League South club and has caught the attention of Championship and League One outfits.

Blackpool, Leyton Orient and Reading are all also linked with a move for Ellison by The Mirror journalist Dan Marsh on X. The defender signed a new deal with Chippenham last year but the club would no doubt be willing to listen to offers from teams in higher divisions willing to splurge on the rising star.

Leeds United are believed to be lining up a £40 million double transfer to strengthen their squad this summer, but only if the Whites achieve promotion back to the Premier League.

TeamTalk reports that Daniel Farke will first make the signing of Joe Rodon permanent with the Spurs defender told he has no future in London. The Premier League outfit are believed to be wanting between £12 and £15 million for his services.

In addition to Rodon, Leeds United are set to move for Celtic star Matt O'Riley with the midfielder enjoying a strong season in Scotland. The Denmark international has 11 goals and 13 assists this term and could demand a £25 million fee. It is thought that should Leeds United offer that sum, Celtic would not stand in the way of a deal.
