QPR in mix for Scottish Premiership youngster
QPR could look to make a move for Aberdeen free agent Kieran Ngwenya this summer, following the player's release from the Scottish Premiership side.
That's according to Aberdeen Live who claim the R's could move for the 21-year-old to initially work with the Championship side's development squad. Ngwenya spent four years at Pittodrie and gained experience from loan spells at Partick Thistle, Raith Rovers, Kelty Hearts and Cove Rangers.
QPR would face competition from Partick Thistle and Dunfermline Athletic for the defender, whose last first team outing for Aberdeen came all the way back in January 2021.

Watford could face renewed competition in the pursuit of young Celtic forward Rocco Vata this summer.
Football Insider reports that Nottingham Forest are lining up a move for the 19-year-old to rival interest from the Hornets and Serie A side Bologna. Vata is set to become a free agent this summer having not yet put pen to paper on a new contract offer from the Glasgow giants.
The forward has been with the club since 2012 and climbed the ranks. He primarily turned out for the Hoops' B team last term but also featured six times for the first team under Brendan Johnson, scoring once.
Leeds United eye £8m Farke reunion

The USA international impressed last season with 16 goals in just 26 Championship outings. Farke brought Sargent to Norwich during his time with the Canaries.
The Whites could be weighing up an £8 million move for the striker to ensure their promotion hopes don't falter against next season. Norwich City sporting director Ben Knapper has also hinted at a possible exit.
Quoted by the Pink Un, Knapper revealed the club would need to green light sales to balance the books. He said: “There’s always pressure on us here because that’s our model. Whether we have to, or we don’t, we want to and that’s what we define as success as well. Of course we always want to build a team that can get promotion, that’s the ambition, but we have to be sustainable.”
