Sheffield United vs Millwall final injury update with 2 in doubt and 7 ruled out
All the latest injury news surrounding Millwall and Sheffield United as they prepare to face off at Bramall Lane.
Millwall are back in action tonight, on Tuesday night, when they face automatic promotion hopefuls Sheffield United. The Lions are still six points off the playoffs after their win over Portsmouth over the weekend, but they will likely need to win five of their last six to sneak in given their starting deficit.

Sheffield United lost over the weekend, but they got lucky with Leeds United failing to win, meaning they are now second, one point behind Burnley and one ahead of Leeds in third in an ultra-tight promotion race. Chris Wilder had a pop at fans who were critical of his side in his pre-match press conference for this one, so it will be interesting to see whether the more supportive Bramall Lane fans rally behind their troops ahead of this one.
In the meantime, we have rounded up all the latest injury news surrounding both teams heading into this one.
Rhys Norrington-Davies - Out
Norrington-Davies is out for the season, with Wilder saying last month: "It's not good news regarding Rhys. He's had an operation on his groin area, a really unfortunate injury - a block tackle and the force of the challenge and the force of the injury sees him out for the rest of the season. It's disappointing for him. It's not going to be affecting his next season but he'll just miss out the end of this season. It's disappointing for him because he's due a bit of luck and hopefully he'll get himself right and get that bit of luck he deserves."
Oliver Arblaster - Out
Wilder said back in March of Arblaster’s ACL injury: "It'll be next season, he's got some hurdles to get over, he's worked extremely hard and been diligent with his work. He's chomping at the bit as you can imagine, but he's still got a third of the work to go through. He's in a good place, and he's out on the grass and working but still that's a medium-to-long term injury. He'll be looking to come back into pre-season, whether it is the first day of pre-season he's back in with the first team, we'll work on that. He has a long summer ahead of him, a lot of work to put in to get himself right for the commencement of the new season."
Tom Davies - Out
Wilder has said: “Tom Davies will be back for Plymouth.”
Harry Clarke - Doubt
Wilder added on Clarke: “Harry Clarke for Millwall/Plymouth as well." Clarke is the only real unclear one, with Wilder having said in his pre-match press conference: “No, everybody's okay. I've got some difficult decisions to make. We'll have a look at it. Do we give those players an opportunity to put right Saturday? I've got a decision to make because of a 3 game week and how we played but I'm not going to take a wrecking ball to it. Definitely in my mind are some changes to be made but I'd like to think any team we put out will give it a right go."
Japhet Tanganga - Doubt
Neil said after the Portsmouth win: "I think he might have broken his hand - he couldn't move it, we'll get it X-rayed tonight (Saturday) and find out.” We are no closer to finding out if Tanganga is back or not, with Neil deciding not to confirm the latest in his pre-match press conference, but he did say Tristan Crama can deputise if needed.
Camiel Neghli - Out
Neil has said: “He’s at least two weeks away. Him and Femi will be lucky if they make the last three or four games.”
Femi Azeez - Out
The same applies as above.
Danny McNamara - Out
McNamara is out after requiring surgery on the serious knee injury he picked up last month. He will be out for the season.
Calum Scanlon - Out
Scanlon will be out for much of the season, and likely all of it. Neil said at the time: “Unfortunately Calum's got a really bad hamstring injury. He required surgery, which he already had and I believe everything went successfully, but that will rule him out for basically sixteen weeks, which takes him to the end of the season. So he'll go back to Liverpool. We're naturally upset for him."
