Hide AdDykes details
It was reported on Tuesday that Lyndon Dykes is Midlands-bound after Birmingham City had a £1.5million bid accepted by QPR. More details have now emerged with HITC reporting that Blues have won the race for one clear reason amid reports of interest from elsewhere.
According to the report, Dykes will become the best-paid player in League One with Birmingham having a healthy bank balance due to their wealthy owners. The Midlands club have picked up seven points from their first three games back in the third tier.
Nisbet explains move
Millwall man Kevin Nisbet has explained why he has joined Aberdeen on loan. He told Aberdeen’s RedTV: “My spell in England did not go as well as I planned. It started quite well then picked up some injuries and then there was a change of manager. I then got injured again and it killed my season. Sometimes you just need a new chapter in your life and now I am at Aberdeen.
“It does make you stronger. I have had a lot of doubters over the last year, but that is just football. I just focus on proving people wrong. I do believe I can score goals here. It is just about getting off the mark as quickly as possible. Then when you do that, you try and go on a run.”

Hide AdSallai to Leeds claim
Leeds United are said to be pushing for a deal to sign Freiburg winger Roland Sallai this summer as they look to replace Georginio Rutter and Crysencio Summerville ahead of the deadline. Tottenham man Manor Solomon will likely plug one of those gaps, but Sallai is said to be another option.
Journalist Sacha Tavolieri has tweeted: “Leeds United now pushing hard with #SCFreiburg in order to make Roland #Sallai €9M deal to happen! The right winger's keen on the move... More to follow.” A £7million investment would be a bold one from Leeds, but they have brought in big money this summer with those aforementioned sales plus the £40million departure of Archie Gray.
