Clean sheets have been easy to come by for Millwall and a potential attacking return is a boost at the other end of the pitch against Burnley.

Millwall head coach Neil Harris has praised his side's consistency this week and the London outfit will go into this weekend's home meeting against Burnley full of confidence.

The Lions have kept three clean sheets in their last four outings and have won two on the bounce against Plymouth Argyle and Swansea City. Meanwhile, the Clarets sit second in the table and are unbeaten in the league since August.

Millwall team news

The big news for Millwall ahead of the weekend is that Middlesbrough loanee Josh Coburn could make his long-awaited first team return. The 21-year-old only managed two appearances after arriving at the end of the transfer window before picking up a calf injury against Luton Town.

Coburn had scored on his debut against Sheffield Wednesday and Neil Harris has teased that the player could be included in the matchday squad against Burnley.

Millwall captain Shaun Hutchinson completed 90 minutes for the under-21 side this week and will be available for the first team this weekend for the first time since mid September. Adam Mayor and Billy Mitchell are in first team training, with the former managing 64 minutes for the under-21s, but the visit of Burnley is set to come too soon for that duo.

Tom Bradshaw is also nursing a hamstring injury picked up during the Carabao Cup defeat to Leyton Orient in August.

Speaking this week, Harris told the South London Press: "We have a 21s game today at Bournemouth. Shaun Hutchinson will play. Adam Mayor is going to play again like he did last week.

“Hutch, if he gets through today, will be available for the weekend. Adam is a possibility for next week, but more realistic for after the international break.

“Josh Coburn is one who is the closest to being available, as well as Hutch. We could see Josh involved at the weekend if he comes through the week. Tom Brashaw and Billy Mitchell are still a bit further behind.”

Burnley team news

Manuel Benson could face months on the sidelines having picked up a calf injury in Burnley's derby against Blackburn Rovers in August. Jordan Beyer is another longer-term absentee having undergone a second operation on a knee injury, which has kept him out for 11 months now.

Hannes Delcroix hasn't played since March and will miss out against Burnley despite making progress on his recovery and Hjalmar Ekdal is yet to play this season too.

Striker Lyle Foster picked up a knee injury during the recent international break and is expected to need weeks to recover. Aaron Ramsey is back on grass training but is still a 'long way' off a first team return.

Zian Flemming is ineligible to play for Burnley against his parent club, having completed a loan move from Millwall to Turf Moor this summer.

Nathan Redmond is also training on grass again and is closer to a return but Burnley is likely to be too soon. Joe Worrall is sidelined with a foot injury but Mike Tresor and Jeremy Sarmiento could both return from their niggles.
