Watmore on contract situation

Millwall star Duncan Watmore is still unsure of what his future holds as he heads into the last months of his contract at The Den. Watmore told the South London Press: “I’m really enjoying it and I really like it here. None of that (talk plans) is to do with me. I don’t have a say with any of that stuff.

“Who knows what will happen? I know the nature of football and things change very quickly. You learn to live with uncertainty. I’m always aware of that but, from my perspective, I love Millwall and all the lads and staff. I’m really enjoying it.”

QPR prediction

Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has issued his prediction for QPR’s important home clash with Stoke. Marti Cifuentes has the backing of the board for now amid a number of injury issues, but he may not have it for long if results don’t start to turn for the better.

According to Prutton, speaking on the Sky Sports Essential EFL podcast, things are not going to get better in the short-term. He said: “Stoke to win 2-0."

Brownhill to Leeds?

Leeds United are being backed for a move for Burnley star Josh Brownhill, who is in the final year of his contract. Carlton Palmer told Football League World: “Burnley have two choices, they can let the contract run down and get promotion and worry about it later, or cash in in January.

“At the end of the day, this is the last chance you’re going to get any money for him.“What is he worth? With his contract, maybe £1.5m to £2m. Burnley might keep him until the end of the season. If, in fact, he doesn’t sign a new contract it wouldn’t surprise me.”
