It’s been a productive summer window so far for Millwall and Neil Harris.

Millwall head coach Neil Harris has admitted that he already knows his next transfer plan as he prepares for the 2024/25 season in charge at The Den.

It's less than a month until the Lions kick off their second-tier campaign against Watford and supporters will be hoping to avoid the relegation scrap that Harris walked into when being re-appointed at the club at the end of February.

Summer recruitment will likely be keen to ensure the club avoids any relegation scare once again and it's been a proactive window so far for the club. Millwall have confirmed the permanent signing of defender Japhet Tanganga following his impressive short loan spell last year, the 25-year-old arriving on a free transfer having left Tottenham Hotspur.

The London club have also brought in talisman Macaulay Langstaff from Notts County in a statement signing for a believed fee of £700,000. The 27-year-old has never played in the Championship but has finished as the league's top scorer in each of the past three seasons when playing in the National League North, National League and League Two.

Last week, Millwall also confirmed the signing of Lukas Jensen from League One side Lincoln City. The fee was undisclosed by the club but was reported to be around the £400,000 mark.

Now, Harris has hinted that the club's next piece of transfer business may also be in between the sticks as a 'priority position'. Millwall tragically lost last season's first choice goalkeeper Matija Sarkic last month after his premature passing.

Speaking to NewsAtDen, Harris said: “We need to add another goalkeeper. We’re certainly in the process of that, as well as other positions. Goalkeeper is a priority position that we’re looking at the moment with Connal Trueman being injured so we certainly need to add a goalkeeper before we go to Spain.

“And there’s a focus on the top end of the pitch to add more creativity to us but, while we’re doing that, we have to be mindful that goalkeeper is a specialised position and we can’t afford to be short in that position.”
