Leeds United summer signing Largie Ramazani will miss November’s Championship games against Millwall and Queens Park Rangers after twisting his ankle against Watford in midweek.
The Whites signed the Manchester United academy graduate for £10m back in August, as the forward joined from Spanish side Almeria. He scored in Tuesday’s 2-1 victory over Watford but was forced off in the first half. Manager Daniel Farke has now said that the winger will be back at the end of November, at the earliest, meaning he will not be available for at least the next six matches.

Hide AdFarke said: “Sadly, bad news with Largie. He obviously twisted his ankle in the last game and we have assessed him. He doesn’t need surgery, but he will be out for four to six weeks. So best case scenario in the end of November, it depends a bit on how the rehab works. We have got Daniel James back and also Manor Solomon. They were both out for a few weeks, but it is at least good to have them also as options. We also have Joffy Gelhardt for the offensive positions as well, so we have a few options.
“We have obviously more or less two natural options at left-back, with Sam Byram and also Isaac Schmidt. We have also another training session this afternoon, but it is pretty likely that one of them will replace Junior.”
Leeds face both QPR and Millwall in their next six games as the Lions host Farke’s side on Wednesday, November 6 in a 7.45pm kick off while the Rs make the trip to Elland Road three days later for a 3pm kick off on Saturday, November 9. Millwall have some of their own injury problems to contend with after both Romain Esse and Femi Azeez were forced off in their midweek win over Plymouth Argyle. Esse scored the only goal against Wayne Rooney’s side but was unable to finish the game while Azeez was withdrawn midway through the second half. Late calls will need to be made over the pair ahead of Saturday’s clash with Swansea.
Millwall manager Neil Harris told the South London Press: “We don’t know. There is a fine balance between cramping up during a game and having some sort of strain. We won’t have a better idea until probably realistically Friday morning. It is not ideal when both wide players come off with calf issues. We’ll have to see how they go.”
