'Gutted' - Neil Harris reacts as Millwall star misses sitter against QPR

Millwall head coach Neil Harris admitted that midfielder George Honeyman was 'gutted' to have missed a late sitter against QPR on Saturday afternoon as the two London sides shared a point in the Championship meeting.
The Lions dominated at Loftus Road but couldn't find a winner despite late pressure against Marti Cifuentes' men. The visitors had taken the lead early in the first half through the in-form Duncan Watmore but QPR replied just six minutes later through the boot of Michael Frey.

Hide AdIf one side was going to claim a late win, it did look to be Millwall. Romain Esse was his lively self and jinked his way around the QPR defence to send a tantalising cross across the face of goal.
Honeyman was the Millwall man nearest to getting a toe on the ball, which would have seen it nestle into the back of the net but couldn't quite sort his feet out in time as travelling fans were left stunned by the missed opportunity.
Speaking after the match, Millwall boss Harris said: "George is gutted he's not scored. I thought he was excellent by the way. Romain is disappointed he hasn't scored, Duncan is disappointed he hasn't scored again, Macaulay is disappointed he hasn't got off the mark, Femi is disappointed scored at the end, the centre-halves are disappointed they haven't scored in the melees in the six-yard box.
“The positive is we are making the chances. We look like a proper Millwall team and have flair with the ball. We're creating chances, we just have to make sure we turn that into wins."

The Millwall coach also admitted that he felt his side deserved the three points from the fixture, which would have seen the side leapfrog QPR in the league table.
Harris said: "Glass half full for sure. Dominant display, really good without the ball and very good with it. Thought we created numerous chances and were disappointed not to win the game. Notoriously it's been a tough venue for us to come as a Millwall team over the years but it's another game I thought we were better than the opponent. Disappointed we've not taken three points for sure."
