There doesn’t look to be any serious danger of Championship relegation in London with all of Watford, Millwall and Queens Park Rangers climbing away from the survival scrap. QPR looked at risk of another tough campaign but a seven-game unbeaten run has pulled them into 14th on Christmas Day.
Millwall were early over-achievers but have fallen away from play-off contention and lost head coach Neil Harris shortly before the festive period. Watford, meanwhile, have surprised many and Tom Cleverley’s side do look set to fight it out for a top-six spot, despite being tipped as relegation candidates before the campaign kicked off.
Each of the aforementioned trio have some key players to thank for those encouraging results, and all three of London’s clubs are represented in WhoScored.com’s Championship Team of the Season so far. Take a look below to see who has made the cut.
