Mikel Arteta names Arsenal team against Aston Villa as Jorginho and Trossard start

Arsenal have made two changes from the 1-1 draw with Brentford as new signing Leandro Trossard makes his full debut.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta has brought Ben White back into the team for Arsenal’s game at Villa Park after Takehiro Tomiyasu’s backpass error against Manchester City.

Jorginho continues alongside Granit Xhaka and Martin Odegaard in midfield, with Thomas Partey remaining on the sidelines due to a muscular problem.

Eddie Nketiah is supported by Bukayo Saka and January signing Leandro Trossard, the latter of whom makes his full debut for the club.

Emile Smith Rowe returns to the squad following his injury, while Reiss Nelson and Fabio Vieira are among the substitutes for Arteta to choose from.
