"It's not up to me" - David Raya admits Arsenal wish ahead of summer transfer window
Arsenal goalkeeper David Raya is hopeful that his loan move from Brentford will be made permanent this summer.
LondonWorld understands that the deal is all but a formality for the Spanish shot stopper, who usurped Aaron Ramsdale as the club’s no.1 goalkeeper this season.

“No, no. I am just focussed on the present,” Raya told Mail Online before Arsenal’s game against Everton.
“I don’t want to think too much about the future. It’s not up to me now. I have to think about the game on Sunday. Then we break for summer.”
“It’s not up to me to sign. It’s up to the club and Mikel. If my performances have been good enough, hopefully, they will offer me a contract.

Meanwhile, former Arsenal goalkeeper David Seaman believes the Gunners will compete for the title again next season.
“I was proud of the team, they played very well against Everton and they’ve played well all season,” Seaman said on his podcast Seaman Says, proudly sponsored by Parimatch.
“They only lost five games all season and that's normally good enough to win the Premier League, but Manchester City have only lost three and it is what it is.

“Now they have to go again next season. They’ve contended now for two seasons and, depending on what happens in the summer with players coming in and players going out, it will be interesting to see where the club finds itself. They'll go into next season as serious contenders for the title.”
