'Likely' and 'two-year' - Fulham dealt updates on two key stars amid contract debacle
Fulham could be close to tying down to first-team stars to new contracts as they prepare to lose defender Tosin Adarabioyo to Newcastle United or Manchester United.

Hide AdThe Magpies and the Red Devils are tipped to be battling it out to capitalise on the 26-year-old's contract running out, which will come as a blow to the Cottagers, who had been keen to keep the defender a the club. Adarabioyo isn't the only first-team player who could leave as a free agent this summer but Fulham supporters will be boosted by news of progress on two other deals.
According to BBC reporter Nizaar Kinsella, Fulham have 'a two-year extension' on the table for Bobby Decordovia-Reid with the versatile forward still key to Marco Silva's plans. The Jamaica international has been at the club since making a loan move from Cardiff City permanent in 2020, racking up an impressive 209 appearances for the side to date.
The 31-year-old was in and out of the starting XI this season but still picked up 41 appearances in all competitions, taking the captaincy at points, and registering seven goals with four assists.

Hide AdSilva is known to be a big fan of the player, heaping praise on him after scoring the only goal in an FA Cup victory over Rotherham United in January. The Fulham boss said: "He deserves it because he's a top professional, he's a vocal guy and one of the great examples we have at the club in terms of focus, able to play in any position and he's always there.
"He deserves all the credit and he deserves these good moments and good weeks.
"It's important for us and him because he needs these type of moments to lift his confidence and he needs the confidence to keep going in the direction we want him to be. Bobby has the capacity to score and tonight it was a great strike from him."

Hide AdKinsella's report also included an update regarding the future of Premier League veteran Willian. The former Chelsea man signed a one-year deal with the club last summer and had been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia this summer, despite Silva's desire to keep him at Craven Cottage.
The journalist added that the club was 'likely to offer Willian another year'. Speaking after the draw against Brentford in May, Silva said: "I was clear the last two months when I was asked about that. We are happy with him and we are trying to renew the contract with him."
