Fulham could face a battle to retain the services of Willian this summer. The experienced winger is believed to have other clubs interested in him.

According to reporter Fabrizio Romano, the Brazilian has European and Saudi Arabian teams monitoring his situation. The Whites are said to be in ‘ongoing’ talks over staying put ahead of next season but nothing has been agreed at this moment in time.

Fulham will be hoping that they can keep hold of the 34-year-old for at least another 12 months after the impact he has made this term. He rocked up at Craven Cottage last summer and has since become a key player for Marco Silva.

He has made 29 appearances in all competitions in this campaign, 26 of which have come in the league and he has chipped in with five goals. However, his deal is up at the end of June and he is due to become a free agent as things stand.

Willian is a familiar face to followers of the Premier League and first moved to England back in 2013 to join Chelsea. He went on to score 63 goals in 339 games for the Blues and helped them win the title twice during his time at Stamford Bridge.

Arsenal then came calling and he only a single year at the Emirates Stadium before heading back to Brazil with Corinthians. The lure of London proved too strong for the veteran last year though and Fulham now face a battle to keep hold of him for longer.

In other Fulham news, they have been linked with a move for Borussia Mönchengladbach attacker Alassane Pléa. Foot Mercato was the source of the rumour.
