Fulham are reportedly keen on Gent striker Gift Orban. The 20-year-old has become the latest player to be linked with a switch to Craven Cottage this summer.

According to a report by the Evening Standard, the Cottagers have sent ‘scouts’ to watch the promising attacker in action over recent times. The likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also said to be keeping track of his progress.

Fulham could see the youngster as a useful long-term option in attack. They may also view him as ideal competition up top for Aleksandar Mitrovic ahead of next season.

Orban, who is from Nigeria, has fired in 19 goals in 19 games for Gent this term. He started his career at Bison FC before being snapped up by Stabæk in Norway. The forward then hit the ground running immediately, chipping in with 19 goals in 24 matches to earn a move to Belgium only last year.

In other Fulham news, they are expected to loan out striker Kieron Bowie again in the next campaign to help him get some more experience under his belt. The Daily Record claim Scotland is his most likely destination and Scottish Premiership pair St Mirren and Dundee United have been mentioned as two potential suitors.

The 20-year-old moved down to London from Raith Rovers in 2020 and despite not making a first-team appearance for the Whites, he has been a hit at youth levels. He was given the green light to head out the exit door on a temporary basis last summer when Northampton Town came calling.

Bowie, who is a Scotland youth international, went on to play 38 games for the Cobblers in all competitions to boost his development and found the net five times. He was part of Jon Brady’s side who won promotion from League Two.
