Hide AdThe last time these two sides faced each other was not the prettiest of stories for the Cottagers with the Premier League champions beating the Craven Cottage club 4-0 in London but with a revamped squad, Silva will be keen capitalise on the side’s recent successes as they make their way up the M1 ahead of Saturday’s 3pm clash.
Here are the latest injury updates from both Silva and Guardiola’s squads...
Manchester City
Rodri recently underwent surgery on his ACL after sustaining the injury during his club’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal. Speaking to the media, Guardiola said of his compatriot: “Surgery this morning, ACL, and next season he will be here. This season is over. Unfortunately, we got the worst (news possible), but these things happen. We will be there to support him in his recovery step-by-step.”
Norwegian midfielder Oscar Bobb continues his recovery after suffering an injury in training. The 21-year-old underwent surgery back in August and is expected to be back in December.
