Fulham man linked with potential departure as club ‘line up’ move

The latest Fulham news involves interest in one of their players

Fulham youngster Luke Harris is reportedly on the radar of Chelsea.

The teenager is being tipped for a bright future in the game and has been on the bench for Marco Silva’s side three times so far this season in the Premier League.

Harris, 17, plays in an attacking midfielder role and has received call-ups for both England and Wales’ youth set-ups over recent years.

However, his current club could face a battle to keep hold of him with the Evening Standard reporting that Chelsea will ‘line up’ a bid to lure him to Stamford Bridge.

Fulham starlet

Harris has been on the books at Fulham for his whole career to date and has risen up through their academy.

Prior to making his senior debut in a Carabao Cup clash against Crawley Town last month, he was a regular for the London outfit at both U18s and U23s levels.

The Jersey-born man models his game on former Chelsea and England star Frank Lampard, according to the Cottagers’ official club website.

It would be a huge blow for Fulham if they were to lose him at such a young age. Their academy has produced the likes of Ryan Sessegnon and Harvey Elliott over recent times, and they now regularly play for Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool respectively.

In other news, young Whites forward Kieron Bowie scored for loan side Northampton Town over the weekend against Barrow.

The Scotsman has now scored twice since joining the League Two club on a temporary basis to get some experience under his belt.
