Fulham defender Connor MacAvoy is reportedly wanted elsewhere before the end of the transfer window. The youngster has caught the eye playing for the Cottagers’ U21s side this season and could head out on loan before the deadline to get some first-team experience under his belt.

According to a report by Football Insider, he has emerged on the radar of Scottish Premiership duo Aberdeen and Hearts as they both look to bolster their defensive department. League One promotion hopefuls Plymouth Argyle are also said to be in the race for his signature.

MacAvoy, 20, has risen up through the academy ranks at Fulham and has been a key player for the London club at various youth levels over the past few years. He was given the green light to join Wealdstone on a temporary basis in the last campaign and ended up making 28 appearances in all competitions for the non-league outfit to boost his development.

He could now build on that experience with another move away for the second-half of the season. The Whites have a decision to make as to whether to send him to Scotland or to the Football League.

In other news, Fulham have ruled out a swoop for Heerenveen right-back Milan van Ewijk, as per Record. He has been linked with a move to England this winter.
