Former Fulham boss linked with return to management

Could this ex-Fulham manager be in line for a new move?

Former Fulham boss Scott Parker is being linked with a move to OGC Nice following his departure from AFC Bournemouth.

The Cherries sacked him after their 9-0 loss to Liverpool late last month.

Parker, 41, guided the Dorset outfit to promotion from the Championship in the last campaign.

According to a report by FootMercato, he is now in the frame for the Nice job.

Fulham left-back Joe Bryan is currently on loan with the Ligue 1 side, whilst Kasper Schmeichel, Aaron Ramsey and Ross Barkley also play for them these days.

Fulham spell

Parker was appointed as manager at Craven Cottage back in 2019 in his first managerial role.

He won an immediate promotion back to the top flight with the London club after they beat Brentford in the play-off final at Wembley.

However, the former Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Charlton Athletic man couldn’t keep them up the year after and subsequently left for Bournemouth that summer.

Fulham then turned to Marco Silva and the rest is history. They stormed to the second tier title last term and have since adapted well to the step up a division.

They are 6th in the table right now after three wins from their opening seven games.
