Fulham are aiming to reach the semi-final stage of the Carabao Cup for the first time in their history. The Cottagers are looking to bounce back from their 3-0 defeat to Newcastle United in the league, in a tie that promises to be a challenging test for Marco Silva’s side against his former employers Everton at Goodison Park.

The Toffees enter the fixture high on confidence with a run of four consecutive victories in the league - almost instantly cancelling out the 10-point deduction that was served to them at the start of the month. Both sides have never previously tasted Carabao Cup glory, although Everton have experienced semi-final heartbreak on three separate occasions, whilst also losing the final to arch-rivals Liverpool in 1984.
