Latest Premier League transfer news and rumours involving Fulham, Man Utd, Liverpool and Arsenal

Fulham are set to cause a major splash in the transfer market. Fluminense midfielder Andre has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool - but the Cottagers look set to fend off the lot of them in their pursuit of the 22-year-old.

According to talkSPORT, Andre is expected to join Fulham 'next year' and that there is also an agreement in place 'in principle' between the Cottagers and Fluminense regarding Andre. As things stand, it will cost Fulham £20 million to bring him on board.

Andre has made it clear he wants to play in the Premier League at some point in his career. He has given praise to Manchester City previously, calling them 'the best team in the world' but it seems Fulham is his next destination. He could play against City soon in the Club World Cup, following Fluminense's 2-0 victory over Egyptian outfit Al Ahly - Andre was awarded the man of the match award for his performance.

What will Andre bring to Fulham?

For such a young player, Andre has a very complete skillset. He isn't a goal scorer, nor is he particularly creative, but his work rate and defensive capabilities are outstanding. Additionally, he is an adaptable talent, being able to play in both central and defensive midfield. Should Joao Palhinha leave Craven Cottage any time soon, having been linked with giant clubs such as Bayern Munich and Manchester City, Andre would be an excellent choice to take his place in the team.

In an interview with talkSPORT, Andre said: "I watch the Premier League and it is a big dream to play there. I am focused on finishing the season with Fluminense and realising our dream of winning the Club World Cup. But my dream is clear, to be a Premier League player."
