England have progressed into the next round but were disappointing in their 0-0 draw with Slovenia.
Gareth Southgate’s side remain unbeaten at Euro 2024 in Germany but their slow performances have underwhelmed their supporters.
Representatives from Arsenal, Chelsea and Crystal Palace were all in their starting XI as the Three Lions struggled to create chances. They will need to improve if they are to stand any chance of winning the tournament with other teams looking much stronger at the moment.
Southgate has said: "I thought we were much improved with the ball. We created some good openings and at the moment it is hard work for us. We’re not quite getting that break in front of goal.
“I thought the boys that came on had a really good impact on the game. We’ve had the discipline to keep a clean sheet which meant that we topped the group. I understand some reactions, but it’s a strange environment we are playing in.”
