Tottenham Hotspur have benefited from a weekend's rest as they prepare to face fellow Londoners Crystal Palace at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Saturday. Spurs were last in action when they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Wolves at home and will now be looking to secure three points in order to keep sixth-placed Manchester United at bay. With a game in hand over both the Red Devils and Aston Villa, Ange Postecoglou's could jump up to fourth but will be taking on a revived Palace under the new management of Oliver Glasner.
Glasner's squad recently enjoyed a triumphant afternoon at Selhurst Park, defeating Burnley 3-0 to earn their seventh win of the season and they now sit eight points clear of any drop-zone fears.
Postecoglou will, however, benefit from the potential returns of two key figures with Pedro Porro and Destiny Udogie spotted in the club's social media accounts in training videos. 1. Ryan Sessegnon - Tottenham
OUT - The 23-year-old underwent surgery on his right hamstring and has been ruled out for the rest of the season.
2. Cheick Doucouré - Crystal Palace
OUT - Doucoure continues his recovery after snapping his achilles tendon in December. He remains out for several months
3. Fraser Forster - Tottenham
OUT - The goalkeeper fractured his foot in training and will be out until at least April
4. Rob Holding - Crystal Palace
OUT - After undergoing surgery on his foot, Holding will not return until towards the end of the season.
