Crystal Palace are open to selling one of their top academy graduates this summer if the right deal comes up.

Belgian club Anderlecht and French side Lyon are among a host of European clubs looking at Crystal Palace forward Jesurun Rak-Sakyi this summer. The 21-year-old is also wanted by some Championship sides, including Leeds United, but Palace and the player are looking for a deal that will benefit the player and aid his development.

LondonWorld has been told the south London club are not desperate to sell him, but Chairman Steve Parish will only consider a sale if the offer is difficult to turn down, as everyone has a price.

Reports in Brussels also say Anderlecht are looking to offer the youngster consistent playing time and some form of European football, something they believe he would not get at Palace and some of the other teams currently considering him.

Rak-Sakyi has been under contract with Crystal Palace for his entire (young) professional career. Last season, he made six substitute appearances in the Premier League for the south London club. He also scored four times in three appearances for the reserves team.

The season before, Rak-Sakyi impressed on loan at Charlton FC. In League One, he scored 16 times, and former manager Roy Hodgson refused another loan offer as he believed Rak-Sakyi was ready for first-team football.

When he first broke into the first team, he was genuinely seen as the next big thing from the Palace Academy. Even though he hasn’t been able to hold down a place in the first team, there is no hiding that he has what it takes to be an absolute superstar under the right manager.

Sky Sports have confirmed Anderlecht’s interest, with LondonWorld’s follow-up checks confirming the player is aware of interest from Belgium as well as from Sunderland and Luton, who have just returned to England’s second division after a year in the top league.

LondonWorld has also been told that the 21-year-old believes he’s at the stage where he should be playing regularly and will factor that in when making a decision for the next stage in his career.

He stayed behind for a few days as the Eagles traveled to the U.S. to continue their pre-season, but he has since joined them after recovering from a stomach upset.
