South London takeover: 13 brilliant photos of Crystal Palace fans at Wembley for the FA Cup

Crystal Palace may have lost 2-0 to Chelsea in the FA Cup semi final, but their fans brought the noise, colour and atmosphere to Wembley.

It was the Eagles’ first visit to Wembley since 2016, and only second in the cup since 1990.

The Palace faithful made their presence felt unveiling a huge red and blue tifo announcing a “South London takeover”.

Another banner read: “South London & proud.”

Eagles fans waved red and blue flags raising the atmosphere ahead of kick off.

Dozens of cut out Patrick Vieiras could be seen amongst the supporters clad in red and blue.

While Palace had their chances, they couldn’t make them count, and Chelsea were incisive in the second half with Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Mason Mount scoring.

However Patrick Vieira told his players they should keep their heads high despite the loss.

And the Palace fans certainly brought the atmosphere to Wembley.
