Newcastle United vs Crystal Palace final injury news as 5 ruled out and 5 passed fit


Crystal Palace are back in action on Wednesday night when they face Newcastle United at St James’ Park, the two teams owing a game due to the Magpies’ participation in the Carabao Cup final. Newcastle are now up in fourth place with a one point lead over Manchester City, and they could move four ahead this evening.
As for Palace, they are in 12th place and five points off the top half. The Eagles fell short to Manchester City over the weekend, losing 5-2, and they will want to put on a better showing against another top four contender here. Hide AdLewis Hall - Out
Hall is out until the summer after requiring surgery on an ankle injury. Hall said after the surgery: “Surgery was a success, and now it's time to rest, recover and support the boys...”
Jamaal Lascelles - Out
Lascelles is likely to be out until late May with his knee injury. Howe ha spreviously said: “I don't know if we will see Jamaal again [this season]. I don't want to set a target or time. He has started very light training with the squad - on the drills - that are not competitive. He has looked very good; it is small steps for him.”
Sven Botman - Out
Botman also has a knee injury and will be out until early May. Howe has said: “Sven's not too bad. He's had a very minor operation just to clean out some floating bone that was in his knee and was causing him a problem. The initial diagnosis was between 6-8 weeks. Fingers crossed, we'll see him in May. “
Joe Willock - Fit
Howe has confirmed that Willock will be back from his concussion. He said: “Yeah! He's now exited the concussion protocols, so he's available now to be involved in the squad for tomorrow night.”

Both players are fit after bouts with illness. Glasner said: “Matt Turner is back, Romain Esse is back, and of course, Eddie [Nketiah] and Marc [Guéhi] are back after their suspensions, so it’s good to have all the players available.”
Chadi Riad - Out
Riad is out until the winter after an ACL rupture. Glasner has said: “Chadi has ruptured his ACL, so we have lost [him] for the rest of the season and even longer. There was no impact, and Chadi as well, it was just a normal situation in training ' so it's really frustrating.”
Cheick Doucoure - Out
