Millwall v Crystal Palace: Police hunt for match fans after alleged ‘attacks’ and ‘homophobia’

Ten football fans are being hunted after “alleged attacks”, “violent disorder” and a “suspected homophobic offence” at the Millwall v Crystal Palace FA Cup match.
Police are looking for nine men in connection with allegedly attacking opposing fans and one man who they suspect of a “homophobic public order offence” at a Millwall home game.

Hide AdThe FA Cup contest between Millwall and Crystal Palace took place on January 8, 2022, at The Den in South Bermondsey.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “The Met’s football investigation team are appealing for help to identify nine men following violent disorder at a Millwall v Crystal Palace game.
“They are sought following alleged attacks on opposing fans at around 2.45pm on January 8.
“They are also appealing to help identify one man in connection with a suspected homophobic public order offence in the stands during the match.”
