Crystal Palace injury update: Michael Olise, Marc Guehi and Cheick Doucoure latest as Eagles set for boost

Latest Crystal Palace injury news and expected return dates.

Crystal Palace's new manager Oliver Glasner will get more days to work on the training ground after their game against Newcastle United this weekend was postponed due to the Magpies' FA Cup commitment.

The absence of the game will be a blessing in disguise for the Eagles manager who was cruelly denied a second win against Luton Town over the weekend. There has definitely been progress since he walked through the door at Selhurst.

A 3-0 win at Burnley was followed by a 3-1 defeat to Tottenham, and that was one of those games where the scoreline definitely flattered Spurs. For large parts, the Eagles looked gook. Then there was the 1-1 to a defiant Luton Town side who just never know when they're beaten.

Glasner has had to prepare and take these games without some of the club's best players- Michael Olise has been battling a thigh problem while Marc Guehi has had to take surgery on his knee.

The Austrian manager has been keen to send out a message that it will take time before the club saw progress in his methods. He told reporters days after being confirmed as the new boss: “I’m no magician. I’m not David Copperfield.

“But what I always tell the players is the same for me. You can grow with your challenges, and it’s a challenge for me, it’s a challenge for all of us, but I’ve had a warm welcome from all the players, from the whole organisation, also from the British weather the last few days."

Getting players back will definitely help his quest, so with that in mind, below is the full injury list and when players are expected to return.
