Key Crystal Palace star spotted in training but six still absent ahead of Nottingham Forest

Michael Olise lasted only 11 minutes in his last game for Crystal Palace but he's returned to training this week.

Michael Olise has returned to Crystal Palace training days after LondonWorld exclusively reported that the winger was closing in on a return to action.

Olise hasn't played for the club since being forced off against Brighton in February but could feature off the bench against Nottingham Forest this weekend. He was spotted training at the club's Copers Cope Road, Beckenham.

New manager Oliver Glasner has won one of his three games in charge but the performance levels have been significantly better. They travelled to Spain for a week's training and the game against Forest will be the first time they are back in action for the first time in three weeks.

There is no doubt though that the return of Olise who provided 11 assists last season will be a massive lift to the squad and his new manager.

The Eagles have suffered massive injuries with six players still out including midfielder Cheick Doucoure and goalkeeper Sam Johnstone who injured his shoulder while with England last week.

Rob Holding who joined the club from Arsenal in the summer is also still out as well as Marc Guehi who has been forced to undergo surgery on his knee and his return date is still unknown.

Jeffrey Schlupp is also struggling with a thigh injury as well and Jesurun Rak-Sakyi is also still out injured and will not be involved this weekend.

The Eagles are 14th on the Premier League table, but more crucially eight points above the the drop zone.
