Crystal Palace had to come back from a goal down for the third time this season to win a Premier League game at Selhurst.

Adama Traore showed up at the near post to head home a goal to put his side in the lead after some brilliant work from Hugo Bueno.

Crystal Palace were fortunate to go into the break only a goal down. Ruben Neves hit the post right on the stroke of half-time before the Eagles turned it around in the second half with goals from Eberechi Eze and Wilfried  Zara.

The win was the perfect response to the 0-0 draw at Leicester that left fans frustrated and lifted the Eagles to 10th place in the Premier League table after 10 games.

Asked what the manager told the players at half-time when they were trailing, defender Joachim Andersen said the Viera just asked them to continue what they were doing in the first half.

Andersen said: “Not much, it was just about keep going because we had quite a good feeling in the first half.

“We knew that we would get on the ball and we would have time on the ball and create what we had, and of course it helped with that early goal in the second half, so it’s just about keep going.”

After a difficult start to the campaign that has seen the Eagles play Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Newcastle, the next round of games are winnable with Everton, Southampton and West Ham all coming in line.

The Crystal Palace defender admits it’s time they go on a run, having now won two of their last three games.

He adds: “Yeah, of course we have some more. I will say we have some easier games because we played some big teams in the beginning.

“Of course we need to win these games at home against Wolves, at home against Leeds, against Leicester we had to win that as well.

“Yeah, it’s just about focusing on ourselves and we are also sure against the big teams we can create something, so we are happy. “
