Fulham have enjoyed a better season so far, albeit only marginally, but anything can happen in the cup, and neither of these sides will need extra motivation with a spot at Wembley on the line. Here we round up the early injury news surrounding both teams.

Chadi Riad - Out

Riad will be out for the rest of the season, and he is likely to be out until the start of 2026 with a ruptured ACL. Glasner has said: “Chadi has ruptured his ACL, so we have lost [him] for the rest of the season and even longer. There was no impact, and Chadi as well, it was just a normal situation in training ' so it's really frustrating.”

Cheick Doucoure - Out

Doucoure is also out with a long-term knee injury, and it’s hoped he will return for the summer. Glasner said at the time: “After further assessments, Cheicky needs surgery on his knee, so we have lost [him] for the rest of the season. We hope [he] will return for pre-season.”

Will Hughes - Available

Hughes has reached the 10 yellow card limit but those suspensions only apply in the Premier League. He is available for the cup.

Jean-Philippe Mateta - Doubt

Mateta suffered a head injury during the FA Cup clash with Millwall and it’s hoped he can return here. Glasner said before the break: “Hopefully, I can play (vs Fulham). Hopefully, you never know. Hopefully, they will see me. I’m in the ground every day. The doctor is the person; he will decide. I will wear a mask, I think so.”

Joel Ward - Out

Ward has been out for some time with a calf injury and there is no news over his possible return.

Reiss Nelson - Out

Nelson is going to be out with a hamstring injury, and likely until late summer due to surgery. Silva said at the time: “He got surgery and could be out until the end of the season. I don't want to give a timescale that is 100 per cent sure, but it could be out until the end of the season. It's a big blow for us, definitely. He was really unlucky.”

Harry Wilson - Out

Wilson is absent having had a small procedure, but it is hoped he can return in the early days of April. Silva said: “He got the surgery last Monday. Everything went well; now we have to step by step keep recovering him. It's going to take a long time, probably the beginning of April.”

Kenny Tete - Doubt

Tete could have an outside chance of returning, but it is more likely he will be back in April. Silva said before the break: “Kenny step-by-step is being integrated a little bit more. Not 100 per cent with the team, but around in some drills.”
