Kostic bid emerges

Crystal Palace are said to have made an offer for Juventus man Filip Kostic this summer. According to Il Bianconero via SportWitness, The 31-year-old defender was the subject of offers from Palace and Southampton during the summer window, but he rejected those offers.

Despite the fact Juventus were willing to accept a low fee, according to the report Kostic did not regard either possible move as attractive. He stayed put and is now attracting interest from Galatasaray with the Turkish window remaining open.

Casemiro remains determined

Casemiro is said to be determined to stay at Manchester United amid loan links with Galatasaray. ESPN report that the Brazilian will only walk away from Old Trafford on a temporary deal if he is told he must depart before the Turkish deadline on September 14.

The midfielder put in a disastrous display against Liverpool last weekend and has come in for intense criticism. Still, he is determined to prove people wrong with plenty to prove at United following his pricey move from Real Madrid.

Ferdinand prediction

Rio Ferdinand has predicted his top four this season, placing Arsenal as Premier League champions but surprisingly naming United as the favourite for fourth place despite their poor start to the season.

He said on his YouTube channel: “With that being said, where would you put us at the end of the season? What are you going for? I went for a top four of Arsenal, City, Liverpool and then us, United, in that order.”
