Crystal Palace vs Leicester City early injury news as 4 ruled out and 2 doubts

Crystal Palace return to action on Saturday and in front of their own fans at Selhurst Park. The Eagles, who are still searching for their first win of the Premier League campaign, go up against Leicester City, who have also picked up just one point from their first three games of the campaign.
Palace put on a strong display to win a point at Chelsea before the international break, and they will be desperate to build on that momentum in a game they should be looking to win at home. Here we take a look at the injury news surrounding both clubs heading into the premier League clash.

Hide AdJakub Stolarczyk - Out
Stolarczyk is out for around six months with a serious knee injury and will be looking to return in the new year. Steve Cooper said in the summer: "It’s really unfortunate - he had a very innocuous injury in training and it’s ended up being really serious. He’s had to have an operation on his ankle and he’s going to be out for a long time.
"It couldn’t be any more bad luck. He’s found himself in a tough situation. He did it on the day we flew to Evian. I feel for the boy. I’ve heard some really good things about him, and how talented he is. The club is very well set up in terms of how they support players. We’ll get him back as quickly as possible. I think it will be around six months."
Patson Daka - Out
Daka will be out until around November with an ankle injury that required surgery. Cooper said at the time: “He suffered a quite serious ankle injury last week in the game at Lens and he is going to be out for a good few months. He had an operation today, so that's really unfortunate for him because he was looking good in in pre-season.”
Matheus Franca - Doubt
Franca has some sort of torso issue but could well be in contention here.

Hide AdAdam Wharton - Doubt
Wharton has a groin issue but he should return here after withdrawing from England under-21s duty. Glasner has said: “Since he came back from the Euros, he has had some issues with his body — not big issues but a little bit here, a little bit there. He's not in his top fitness level. He's been training with us for three weeks but hasn't been able to do every single training.”
Chadi Riad - Out
Riad has a knee injury that is keeping him sidelined currently. Glasner said at the end of August: “It is a little bit questionable at the minute. “It looked really bad, and the next day he was very stiff in his knee.
“But the examinations were not so bad, but also not clear enough by the next day, so we have to wait now for the next two weeks to see if the knee is swollen to get the right diagnosis for the future. It doesn’t look so serious, we will miss him definitely for several weeks, but what it looked like is that the ACL is not ruptured, which is very important. We’ll see within the next two weeks.”
Rob Holding - Out
Holding is absent due to an unknown reason. Glasner has said: “Rob is training individually at the moment. We will talk together - he knows the reason. But it is something that stays between Rob and me. Nothing public.”
