Crystal Palace will be without midfielder Luka Milivojevic and potentially Jeff Schlupp, who has picked up a knock this week. Defensive pair Nathan Ferguson and James Tomkins remain sidelined as well.

On a more positibe note for the London club, James McArthur is fit to return which is a boost. Hodgson has said: “Unfortunately we’ve lost Luka Milivojevic to an injury in training this week. His name gets added to the ones who have been injured for a while.

“[James] McArthur is actually back. We’ve got a doubt for Jeffrey Schlupp, who’s been nursing a slight knock during the course of this week, so we’ll make a late decision on him.”

As for Bournemouth, they will be without winger Marcus Tavernier and midfielder Hamed Traore which isn’t ideal but do welcome back striker Kieffer Moore. Ryan Fredericks and Junior Stanislas remain in the treatment with it yet to be known when they will be available again.

Their manager Gary O’Neil has provied this update regarding the status of his squad: “Marcus Tavernier is still out for this one, as is Hamed Traoré. We are very hopeful that we will see Traoré before the end of the season. Elsewhere the rest of the squad are in a good place and they’re available.

“Kieffer Moore is back as well after his concussion protocol, he’s come off the bench recently and he gives us another outlet so I’m pleased to have Kieffer back.”
